All the nurses and other staff were great and treated me with respect. There was a lot to take in and being older I found it hard to remember it. Trauma counseling wasn’t available there which is a pity because that’s what I really needed but I travel now each week to Temora for counseling. We had BBQ’s and the other consumers were a great help to me. I had the pleasure of spending 9 weeks in the recovery unit they helped me understand why I was feeling the way that I did and showed me the skills to manage my emotions and mental health I’m so grateful for all of the stuff especially my rst (Vikki and Aynslie) big love to them all but especially ray who after a couple of months out of the unit my car went flat in the hospital parking lot and he came and jumpstart me what a legend 🩷
