Waffle house is great and quick.
Oh my goodness gracious the boy Jacob was an absolutely incredible waiter. All around incredibly nice guy and genuinely is the best Waffle House waiter I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m speaking of a Georgian that is 67 years old that has gone to waffle houses dating back to the 60s all right I’m being so serious. I am a WH regular but if I had visited this one first that would not have been the case.
Got there. Sat down. Immediately ordered a drink so I could take medication. Waitress came back to my table three times. Gave me teenager attitude and rolled eyes when I asked if steaks weren’t on the menu anymore. “That’s the menu. If it’s not on there, we don’t have it”. Each time, I asked for my drink order. Finally after 15 minutes, I went to the register and asked for my drink. Got told “Look. I’m working the grill so it’s not my job to help you.” This was at 5:30 on a Saturday. All I asked for was my damn Coke.
