This is a depressing WH. Staff were lackluster. The patty on the patty melt was disgusting/inedible. My friend thought I was being dramatic and took a bite - which went into their napkin. The cheesesteak sandwich they had was much better. Only redeeming part was the waffle. It was perfect and bumped it up to 3 stars. We love WH but won't be going back to this one.
I arrived at the Waffle House across the street from Walmart at 12:15pm on Wednesday, April 1. I sat at a booth for 12 minutes reviewing the menu while waiting on a server. Two workers were cleaning behind the counter and then one of them grabbed a broom and dustpan and cleaned the lobby and sitting area around me. No one acknowledged me being there or asked for an order. I got up and left and it didn't even phase them.
