My family landed from our flight hungry and headed straight to Waffle House, but unfortunately this visit didn’t quite hit the mark. The waitress Michelle was great and very pleasant, attentive, and did her best. We honestly felt bad because there was only one male cook handling everything, and he was clearly trying his best. Our sausages in the breakfast grit bowls were overcooked hard crumbles and seemed to be a half of a patty, and the one hash brown bowl was burnt. I had double hash browns, scattered smothered and covered with sausage patties (to-go) My total was over $14.00!!!!! My receipt did not include a complete breakdown of my order so I'm not sure if I was charged correctly or not.
On Wednesday late morning it’s not very busy. Very clean and nicely decorated for Christmas.
