I know what you’re thinking. It’s Waffle House. But hear me out. I’ve been to this location three times now. Always during the day shift. Always a to-go order. And every single time it’s been the same experience — and I mean that in the best way. The moment you walk in everyone speaks to you. Not one person. Everyone. My family landed from our flight hungry and headed straight to Waffle House, but unfortunately this visit didn’t quite hit the mark. The waitress Michelle was great and very pleasant, attentive, and did her best. We honestly felt bad because there was only one male cook handling everything, and he was clearly trying his best. Our sausages in the breakfast grit bowls were overcooked hard crumbles and seemed to be a half of a patty, and the one hash brown bowl was burnt.
