I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience but there was something special about tonight. Aminah was amazing and the chef made my regular, which is always good, but tonight was leveled up. It's also worth mentioning how clean everything was. Bathrooms, dining area, and kitchen were spotless. As the late Anthony Bourdain, God rest his soul, used to say, "Waffle House, 'tis a magical place."
Wanted a fresh hot waffle with my at home breakfast.
Grateful food
I let the good sanitation score fool me. I ordered a burger with hashbrowns, and my wife got waffles with hashbrowns. While we were there, I watched the cook drop a raw burger patty directly next to hashbrowns on the grill. Business as usual — or so I thought. Looking back, I realized she was using the same utensils on the raw burgers as she did on the hashbrowns that were nearly touching the raw meat.
