The service was awesome; however, some of the food wasn't. Most of the food was some what warm, yet the waffles were very tasty! The bacon tasted salty (whereas the competitors aren't as salty) & the grits had very hard pieces in them that I couldn't even chew up. When I showed the pieces to our server, she was very apologetic & she adjusted our tickets.
Shoutout to Imani—super sweet, on point, and actually cared if we were alive and happy (rare these days ). CJ was back there running the kitchen like a culinary bootcamp—teaching his trainee cooks but still making sure they were doing the work. Respect. That’s how you lead. And the food? It’s Waffle House. You don’t go there expecting a Michelin star—you go for chaos, comfort, and crispy bacon. 10/10, would risk a 3 a.m. crowd for this crew again.
