Even though it’s local, it’s a great place to visit. Food is pretty good. Customer service is great. The atmosphere is great. Enjoyed it when I visit.
I went in today 1/5/2026 this was my first time coming to the Middletown Waffle House. When I went in the staff were friendly and took care of me I ordered a bacon melt with hashbrown. The cook was quick and I started eating I ate my sandwich which was decent then started on the hashbrown I had gotten about halfway when I seen a ROACH in the food I put my silverware down took the check and immediately left, never will I go back! I appreciate the kindness of the staff but I was sick to my stomach seeing that.
It was pretty quiet and I was able to have a conversation without straining to hear
