Waffle House is good for the "basics": Bacon, eggs, and toast. But their "cheesy grits" were horrible and spoiled the breakfast. Cheesy grits is NOT laying a slice of American cheese on top of your grits. Cold cheese at that. Send the cook over to the Cracker Barrel so they can learn what cheesy grits are supposed to be. (Pic attached. Not their's. How they're supposed to be.) Service and friendliness were excellent, as usual. It was just the pathetic cheesy grits.
So how can you automatically charge 20% for all to go orders but refuse to cook the food people want. My sick husband home from brain surgery decided he wants Waffle House…. I’m happy because he hasn’t had much of an appetite. So I go in to make his order and hear one of the workers refuse to make country gravy because they are too slammed.
