I moved here from out of state. After living here a couple years and finally ate at my local Hickory Flat Waffle House. The food was just fine, but the service was excellent. Everyone was very nice. Our food was hot and came out quickly. I will absolutely eat their again.

I love me some waffle house but tonight was bad. The young man serving us was very nice but there was apparently a problem with the cook. There were maybe 4 tables but it took over 40 mins to get food and it came out one plate at a time. The waffle and eggs were good but the bacon was burnt to a crisp and inedible tasted like ashes. The hash browns were one solid burnt side with a few potatoes able to be scraped off the back to eat. They honestly should have just closed until a new cook could come in.

Stopped by Waffle House mid afternoon for a bite. Place was clean and not crowded. Service was fast and the staff was attentive. Food came out cooked perfectly. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Standard Waffle House experience.

Honestly pretty disappointing. The food was whatever (even though it was not what we ordered) which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The service sucked, I guess their dishwasher was broken and instead of handwashing the plates they were using to go boxes and cups. If I wanted to eat with plastic I would have ordered to go and eaten it at my house, I don’t really think it’s a lot to ask that I get a metal fork, a plastic cup, and a ceramic plate at a restaurant.
