We love Waffle house but very disappointed in our visit to the one in Pigeon forge on wears valley road. The waitress was not friendly at all. She threw things we asked for onto the counter. Never got a refill of my drink. The hashbrowns I got were burnt. So hard you couldn't even eat them. The manager rang us out after he was told to by a staff person and he never greeted us, thanked us for coming in or anything. He was too busy chatting it up with the workers. Will not repeat a visit there.
Our server said they don't have a way to heat syrup. Come on! That kind of faux pas should be cited on the menu for those of us that only like it hot.
The waffle did not appear to be a full serving, as depicted in the accompanying photograph. I am attempting to do the math and am not coming up with the amount in the picture. Our server, Chassidy, did not return to our table to check on us, and as a result, our beverages were not refilled, didn't get things we needed. I found it necessary to request assistance from another server, Erin, who was very accommodating in providing the items we required.
