On of the good waffle houses. This is the one in Shelbyville in.
Placed to-go order. Server was adamant that we don’t forget her tip (before order is placed). I politely asked her if the 20% automatic gratuity that the menu states has been applied and she told me no, no tips are on this order. Sensing that she was lying, added an additional 10%, with plans to do another 10% if she was telling the truth and the order was correct. Food was delivered, I asked for a receipt and the server could not provide. Said the order was “too old”. Knew that was bs, so we had a manager print the receipt ... read more
