Great spot for a late night bite. Breakfast or a sandwich at any hour. Food was yummy. The service was great and attentive. Place was clean.
There was no music, it was dead silent. My drink was flat, I had to ask for every single thing to the extent I gave up and didn’t bother asking for a non flat drink. Boxed all my food up to go since it was SO cringy in there, bought a waffle.. Left with a flat drink & didn’t even get a syrup.. Had to go get drink at Sheetz Down the road. Servers should be somewhat intuitive towards clients. Waste of money!
Everyone was courteous & kind but it was way too loud, the music was too loud. The staff was playing around too much. The waffle was beautiful. But hey they were having fun so 🫢. I live in OBX and we do have a Waffle House, so I miss it sometimes. But the culture &food quality has definitely changed. Greensboro is my hometown & Waffle House wasalready a family staple but things have changed.
I went to this particular waffle house on W. Martin St. probably about 8:30 PM last night and I had got there All-Star breakfast platter and a cheese omelette. Let me first off and say this I ordered grits cheesy grits for one of the orders and regular grits for the other so then when I got home, I should’ve looked at the food before I even attempt to leave out of there. This was my fav waffle house until yesterday. My bacon was burned! Idk why they thought it was ok to serve it like that.
