WaFed is a bank that participates in the free MoneyPass ATM program. Meaning if you use debit cards from other institutions they don't charge you a fee. That's really wonderful. However, if increments of $20 don't work for what you're trying to do, you cannot go into the bank with a $20 bill and ask them to turn it into 2 - $10 bills without verifying yourself as a WaFed at customer, or filling out a ream of paperwork called "get to know your customer". It was astonishingly pleasant. We were served by Rebecca at the West Salem branch. She expertly took us through a change in trustees on a family living trust.
Went in there with high expectations. was told I was going to be taken care of. And honestly the biggest and worst experience I have had with a bank it’s sad to say I should’ve just stuck with Wells Fargo. And that’s saying something. Was left without a card without any information without any way to access my money. So ya can’t wait till I go and close this useless account

Been in this bank for many years. Always very helpful and friendly. I called i need something done or need some help never disappointed. Aside from that they have the best interest. I open my bank account when I reside in oregon and I was glad and happy when they open branch in LA. Thank you.
