West Salem WAFD bank is just amazing, from the manager to personal bankers to the super friendly tellers. Wish all businesses of any sort had the professionalism and customer service skills this branch exhibits. They set the bar for sure!!!!!

Mizael was very knowledgeable, kind and professional as branch manager and in his role as notary for the many documents I brought to the West Salem branch over several days. As well, the other personnel were welcoming each time I walked in. I very much appreciate the great service!
WaFed is a bank that participates in the free MoneyPass ATM program. Meaning if you use debit cards from other institutions they don't charge you a fee. That's really wonderful. However, if increments of $20 don't work for what you're trying to do, you cannot go into the bank with a $20 bill and ask them to turn it into 2 - $10 bills without verifying yourself as a WaFed at customer, or filling out a ream of paperwork called "get to know your customer".
