I went there to cash a check I was given by my finance company and the vibes were just so off in this place. The lady helping me was clearly uninterested with working with me and asked me for all my information for just cashing a check. I asked her a couple questions about that bank and she was just condescending and I felt like she viewed me as trash and wanted me out of her branch. I opened my account with WaFd Bank when I was in middle school with my dad — I'm 29 now. I recently closed my account, and honestly, I should’ve done it sooner. Their hours are super inconvenient (9–5 only, 6 on Fridays, no weekends), so it was nearly impossible to get in and close my savings account. The new app update is awful — it's incredibly slow, confusing, and hard to use. I recently applied for a company loan through Adrienne Esposito at WaFd. What an easy transaction. Best part? I have her cell number and she always answers her phone. Absolutely recommend! I was approved for a LOT!
