I did not have a good experience. I an suffering from acute sciatic nerve pain. She doesn't prescribe narcotics. The med she prescribed does nothing to alleviate my pain..
My family just started seeing Dr Akkad recently. She listens with care, asks follow up questions and is very thorough with her work. She checks and comments on lab tests promptly often changing medication, requesting more tests or recommending referrals. We feel like we are never left wondering or unsure of what to do because she responds quickly on MyChart.
