Sloppy doc. Looks like the janitor in dress. Should've been a janitor. Sloppy and oh so sensitive office staff. Wait a week for a call back. Goes on vacation without correcting my BP meds that could've caused my heart to stop. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. I'm going to. He did help me with medicine to sleep. I never abused them, and signed a contract saying so. He knows no one PERSONALLY to make referrals too after saying he knew lots of Doc's to refer to at our initial meeting. Dr Garas is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience. He had several recommendations that proved to me that he was observant and on point. Gentle bedside manner and vast list of specialists for referrals. I feel that I am in very good hands. Highly recommend.
Dr Garas had zero bedside manner. Dressed like he was going to clean the attic. Had a staff member draw my blood and left for lunch without ending the appt. No feedback on how to proceed w a positive lab result. He was awkward when he entered and didn’t say hello. I had to break the ice. Not to mention he misdiagnosed me. Boulder has some good physicians. Find one of them.
I saw Dr. Garas on 1/15/20 - my first visit beyond a meet and greet. I am incredibly impressed with him! We "overhauled" my entire medication regimen. He went into "laymen term" explanation for each medication change. I hadn't slept one wink the night before and was in a lot of body aches and pains. While his recommendation for some meds require "weaning myself off", I followed his instructions to a "T".
