The place was renovated towards the end of last year - I hear it was a little rough before - and now has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As you approach the sushi bar you are greeted by, I believe, the son of the older couple. Orders are relayed in Japanese to the chef/husband. They are the real deal. I ordered from this sushi spot on DoorDash and was seriously impressed. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, especially the raw salmon—it was buttery, clean, and easily some of the best I’ve had from a takeout order. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. On top of that, the prices were more than reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. It’s not always easy to find sushi that’s both affordable and this good, (especially in Orillia) but they nailed it. Definitely one of those places I’ll be ordering from again.... read more
If you haven’t been here - you need to come. If you have, I’m sure you tell everyone about this place. The atmosphere is amazing, staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The FOOD is so good I feel like I can’t say enough for it. Fresh beyondbelief and incredible Presentation Finish off with a green tea in the cutest little cups and you’re all set
