I saw Dr. Karlyn Boling for a round of CBT-I (CBT for insomnia). I developed crippling insomnia postpartum and was struggling with hyperarousal and sleep anxiety. It was brutal! Dr. Boling was calm, confident, and comforting in every therapy session -- just what I needed. She has treated all sorts of people with various kinds of insomnia; I knew I was in good hands. Changed my son's appt date without letting me know.. and made no attempt to to make it right or even own the mistake.
Front office is rude and disrespectful trying to come up with a solution as I physically could not get across town and instead of being helpful in a tough situation chose to be belligerent try to force payment via phone and canceled all appointments as well as hang up on me mid sentence. If that’s what the office of a mental health drs office does to their patients then there is one more reason mental health is declining. This does not reflect on the therapist.
