This was my first time trying Waba Grill, and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The food smelled great, but the inside of the restaurant was unbearably hot. There was no working air conditioning, and with the smoke from the grills, it felt suffocating. I couldn’t even sit down to enjoy my meal because the heat inside was worse than the 100+ degree weather outside. Walking into Waba Grill today was honestly a shock. The temperature inside was unbearable, and it felt like stepping into an oven. There was no working air conditioning, and the heat from the grills made the whole place stifling. I had planned to sit down and try the food, but there was no way I could enjoy a meal in those conditions. Not sure when Waba started serving chicharrón with their chicken bowl. Most of my chicken was rock hard and the portion was as if I ordered a mini bowl. Don’t think I’ll be coming back. Maybe it’s new employees but this is the first time I’m not satisfied with the food.
