This was a great omakase! My only issue which kinda ruined the mood and an ambiance during my dinning experience was the amount of fruit flies that were buzzing around during my dinner. A bit concerning especially with all the raw food being out and about being prepared. For the amount of money I payed for the meal, I would have hoped that this establishment would have addressed it during our experience but otherwise great tasting sushi and dishes.
Wa Shin has a Michelin star, and you can see why. It’s Edomae style nigiri, served omakase, and every bite that the chef serves you is fantastic. There were too many favorites, but to single out a few, the hairy crab was delicious, and the horse mackerel had a tremendous bite to it. And of course the otoro was sumptuous. There is a tiny waiting area but only a few seats, so arrive right on time for your seating.
Every aspect of the experience is amazing and memorable.
Such an amazing experience! The food was the best meal I've ever had and the sake pairing was perfect.
