This vital WA Cancer Centre will deliver person-centred care, hundreds of new hospital beds, an intensive care unit dedicated to cancer, new cancer surgery theatres, world-first cancer medicines, world-leading cancer clinical trials and holistic cancer care, all in the one location. Prof Peter Leedman AO
The WA CCC will be a game-changing facility. The ability to receive person-centred, holistic cancer care in one central location that is informed by leading physicians and researchers in cancer care is incredibly important to those navigating the cancer journey. I am excited by this project which will improve the lives of so many West Australians.
A WA Cancer Centre that is focused on the needs of people living with cancer will provide navigation and advocacy, transforming people’s lives. Specialised experts that provide treatment, care and cancer research all in one place is a facility WA really needs. In my experience, simple things, like coordinated appointments all in one place, means you can live your life and focus on your health.
