Nice location
Pretty subpar experience for a 5 star hotel. The room layout was ok (for a 5 star hotel) and the check in process wasn’t smooth. You might be better off staying at one of the competing hotels for the same $ per night.
There are good aspects of the hotel - location, check in staff friendlness, complimentary wine, lovely WET pool, breakfast buffet. Some unpleasant points makes the staycation losing it's point: -Dine in food service - found hair in food in mid of eating Heavy metal shower tap fell off -Room preference not met - tail room next to noisy busy raod -Delayded check- the allocated room became ready at 7pm (temp room offered with extended wait- initially advised half an hour wait) -Complimentary wine - staff promised to change to s... read more
I visited to celebrate my birthday and was given a $25 complimentary voucher for the Mix Bar by your staff. At checkout, the $25 was automatically deducted from my bill, which I accepted, and I therefore did not use the Mix Bar. However, during checkout, the staff member informed me that the voucher could not be used as it was only valid for the Mix Bar, and that the deduction on the bill was a mistake.
