I used W M Schmidt to do my first furnace inspection since I purchased a new home and they were amazing. The service technician was highly professional and efficient and took the time to explain everything to me during the inspection. The service charge was extremely reasonable. I also found that the company overall is very well organized and prompt. I phoned them on a Friday and they were able to do the inspection on the following Monday. I highly recommend this company.
My hot water tank stopped working and I am trying to reach out to them through Shane homes. Nobody is responding.
This company has let me us down considerably. We ordered a new AC as part of our new home build a year in advance of needing it. When the time came to install they first claimed that they had a shortage of technicians to do the work, then later claimed the issue was a shortage of inventory because of the tariffs. When I phoned them up to discuss this they were very curt and evasive, basically hanging the phone up on me. Now we are heading into summer with no AC despite having ordered it a year before.
Poor experience with WM Schmidt regarding HVAC installation WM Schmidt installed the HVAC system in my newly built home. I had concerns about the HRV system not working properly and contacted them multiple times, but they kept telling me "it's normal" and never came to inspect it. Thankfully, another contractor I hired discovered that the HRV had been installed incorrectly from the beginning and fixed the issue.
