I was very unhappy with this law firm's billing practices. The case was straightforward, and the plaintiff was self-represented with no formal education in law. Despite that, our lawyer charged $450/hour and still needed more than 8 hours of preparation for an 8-hour trial. If a lawyer demands such a premium rate, they should have the experience and skill to prepare more efficiently. This felt like an unjustified overcharge for a non-complicated case.

Damn expensive not recommended at all. They overcharged more than 2 times! Being a small business, do not work with these folks. Use ChatGPT; it will get you very close to the finish line. When the time comes, hire a lawyer who is not working with a greedy Law firm. I can understand WLaw needs to pay rent and commissions, but come on, don't lie to clients that it will cost $4,500 and then charge them over $10,000.
