Claimed I cut him off when I have two friends who were all appalled by the way he claimed we cut him off Was told they are a warranty center but claimed they are a service center. Dropped off mower for warranty work May 21st. Was told by two different staff members "we are backed up and won't be able to look at it for about 14 days". It is now July 8th and, after multiple calls, they now are saying they "plan to look at it this week". **UPDATE** After this post, I received a call and was told "I can tell you the parts won't even be in stock and the $20 worth of work to fix the mower isn't worth it, just come pick it up." Probably could have told me that 7 weeks ago before I dropped it. Complete waste ... read more

W F Smithers Co was a great purchasing experience. So much better than the big box stores. Very friendly service. Value added extras that you can't get anywhere else. I will defiantly be back for my future outdoor equipment needs and service.

Took 2 chainsaws in for repair. Both were older and ended up being almost as much to repair as buying a new saw. Not blaming Smithers; just disappointing to basically throw away the money spent. I would go back for other repairs. Or maybe even buy a "good" chainsaw.
