I can't express how much I appreciate WF Gormley & Sons for the compassion they showed my family and I during the incredibly difficult loss of my mother. Knowing you will be facing the loss of a loved one is an emotionally fraught time, and I was advised by my hospice team to find a mortuary service prior to my mothers death so that when the time came, I could focus on my loss rather than dealing with logistics. My brother died rather unexpectedly in Sacramento. He lived alone and had no children or spouse. Moreover he had no immediate family close by. I live about 2400 miles away, and had to deal his death via long distance. Obtaining a mortuary was one of my tasks, and I knew nothing about mortuaries in Sacramento.
