Been waiting almost 5 years for this probate case to be over, still no end in sight. The lawyer they hired is not for you but represents them. You get little to no help from them or their lawyer to put an end to your case. I feel like all they wanted to do was get their name on your probate case, so they collect the money first when or if you are awarded anything, because after that, they do nothing to get it settled. WC Cox contacted me to let me know that an unknown relative had passed away and that I was a possible heir to the estate. At first I was concerned that it was a scam but my husband, who is a lawyer, said that these services exist and they are legitimate. Our case was more complex then most but they told us upfront what to expect and told us the percentage they would take and that it would cover all legal and other fees.
