In 1974, Jim Mauro Sr. brought the first lineal vinyl extruder to the United States from Germany. He began to make vinyl extrusions at a company he created, Poly-tex. Simultaneously, Jim created Vynex Window Systems Inc. which was the first fabricator of the first all tubular vinyl window, which is the vinyl window as we know it today. Great Window Company – We met Veynex Window Systems Inc at the Pittsburgh remodeling show. Scott gave a good presentation of their windows, and the the way the windows would be installed. Scott gave us several references to call. No pressure from them at all which I like. After considering other window companies in the area, we are glad we chose Vynex Window Systems Inc.
