Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Nice comfy rooms. Can't beat the location.
While our (my husband and I) experience wasn't terrible, I doubt that we would stay here again. We had a room on the first floor which smelled very musty. The bathroom clearly hasn't been updated for about 40 years, going by the style. The shower recess is a good size for VERY skinny people. The only staff we saw was the young woman at reception. It's a shame because we've stayed a few times over the years but I don't think it's worth the nightly rate of $250, especially as the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, which we would'v... read more
Great place for a naughty weekend
Stopped for lunch with my family. Unfortunately a bad mistake as the linguine pasta, Thai curry and porchetta sandwich were of low standard - pasta was not hot enough and not tasty, Thai curry was too soupy and porchetta sandwich too oily. We also ordered boloignaise pasta for my grandchild and what we got was a bit of pasta floating in tomato soup. The only bright spot was the female waiter serving us.
