I’ve never felt more taken advantage of by a vacation rental company. We booked w/ Southern Vacation Rentals which is owned by VTrips. After checking out of the property in perfect condition, I was shocked to receive a bill for supposed "damages" that I absolutely did not cause. There was no prior communication during or immediately after my stay—just a sudden charge and vague accusations with no clear evidence. This place was very relaxing & pretty convenient with being in the middle of both sides of the city. Our family had a great time! Our kids wanted a tv in the room but that just gave us more bonding time LOL! Overall great place! We plan on returning.
Overall, the Beach Bungalow is worth the stay. There are parts of the house that have been upgraded. There are also parts of the house that need addressing. Both bathrooms need a makeover, as parts of the wall are falling off and there is rust on most pieces of metal. The kitchen itself has what you need, just don’t look in some of the handheld appliances. The location is great. 1 way street with a walkway to the beach. We booked condo in St Augustine FL with VTrips and have no concerns. Easy to deal with, communicated well. Even communicated and checked in with us during our stay.
