I should have just done all my loans through federal entities. The amount of interest is asinine. The point of VSAC is to help local stay local, and frankly it's a complete disservice. Extremely disappointed.

VSAC claims to be a student assistance corporation, but they are far from it. Their policies are conducive only to their private agenda and are tough to work with. Unfortunately, I had to go through VSAC for private student loans and they are no better than any other private loan institution. Their name is merely a facade as they are as cut throat as the next bank. It's been a headache ever since signing up for their loans. I sent a job application through their system and it glitched. It didnt have my university (which is a famous one). Because of the glitch I wasnt sure if my application went through. I tried emailing them asking for confirmation of receipt but but they never responded.
