Many have asked how I came up with the idea of V's. The answer lies in my fond memories of going to the classic barber shops for a hair cut with my dad while growing up in Tucson. I keenly remember the sights and smells of Nick's Barbershop and the real experience of being a boy among men. It was a place that we could go together and do more than get a hair cut. Excellent experience
Called ahead at 3:30 pm understanding that it was close to the end of the day and asked, “are you able to fit me in and give me a haircut?” “Yes if you come in we can fit you in” I show up 20 minutes later, dropped off by my ride and walk in and immediately met by a barber casually sitting in a chair with “there’s no way we can fit you in.” To his credit he did get up and mess on the computer in a feeble attempt to look for a time.
