Finished a 6 day BWCA trip on 09/05/25. From planning to take out, Voyageur Canoe Outfitters was first class. Location is awesome. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Liby who gave us our tow out was very sweet young lady who knew what she was doing and handled the tow boat like a champ. When we ran into trouble due to weather and needed assistance getting out, Carsten(i pray I spelled that right) was spot on. This was a great place to start our loop on the BW. Great breakfast and service. Very nice people. Would highly recommend.
Super helpful staff. Bunkhouses are clean, but spare. Location is perfect for lake sag or seagull. Book with confidence.
I have used Voyager for gear rental into BWCA and also for a family trip at their Moose Ridge Cabin. Both times were perfect. The quality of the gear. The advice on where to fish, what to do, etc. from the staff. The friendliness of everyone. Would recommend VCO to anyone and plan on using multiple times again.
