On my second session I was told that I didn’t seem like I was “in crisis” as I explained myself well and could book another appointment “if i wanted to”. I was in a very deep dark place at that time and was extremely embarrassed after being told that. It was already hard for me to reach out for help and this definitely did not help. It was my first time reaching out for therapy and this has made me not want to go back not only to them but to other therapists as well.
I've found the facilities very clean, comfortable, and inviting. I've been warmly greeted and enjoyed talking with the friendly administrative staff. There's clean restrooms and a handicap accessible lift in the building. The family friendly touches such as toys and puzzles and even some therapeutic games for couples, tell me they understand the dynamics of family therapy. I feel assured that client's privacy and well-being are a top priority.
