We had a garage door break and they came out quick for an emergency fix. I understand the high cost of that call. The estimate was extremely high so we got another bid and it was half the cost of the estimate to do the final repair, and the job got done a lot faster. Really felt like we would have been ripped off if we had proceeded with them. Lesson learned - always get a second bid.
Wow - I just called to inquire about adding hoses to a roll up door. They want to charge $756 for ONE hour just to evaluate the door. I'm not so sure how complicated it is to install the hoses, but I'll be now using other companies for this service. We've been a long time client for this company too, not any more! I asked the person if that charge is accurate and she said, yes, that's for one hour and if materials were needed it would be extra and she confirmed that's only for one hour - Beware!!

CJ has restored my faith in VORTEX DOORS. In the past the company has not been very responsive and with poor follow-up on service requests. Too many times, I have had to chase to get a service call completed. No one seemed to be accountable or cared. That changed this weekend when I connected with CJ Jaeger (team lead) who showed exemplary service and fixed my door issues at a busy UPS STORE in Redmond - where we have a need for 24/7 access.
