I would highly recommend vortex for water main replacement. We had to replace 600 ft of water main.We contacted Vortex and Charles came by and gave us a estimate and we able to get the repair done as soon as possible, depite issues with the insurance company that vortex helped us deal with as well. The job was done in two days with a minimum of disruption. they also did an excellent job with cleanup and restoring the area to its previous condtion.

The septic guys were great! They arrived when they said they would, did a terrific job, left the place very clean. They were busy the whole time , even while waiting for the pump truck. I would certainly recommend this company! Thank you for your great service.

Vortech replaced my waterline, and are a top dollar outfit, and their crew works fast, but their policies leave room for improvement. They refused to provide an itemized invoice, with manhours and billing out rates, as trades should. They also promised to bury the waterline only 12-18" - not deep enough for the municipality. Lastly, they were going to back fill before pressure testing the new waterline - I insisted they wait. Before you hire them ask if these are still their practices, and maybe check around.
