They have really upped their game.
I stood at the pharmacy counter for nearly 10 minutes while my 2 children ran up and down the aisle. There was no one else in line, yet neither of the two employees acknowledged me or even let me know they would be with me shortly. When I finally spoke up and asked how long it would be, they looked surprised and said, “Oh, you’re waiting?” I’m not sure why they assumed otherwise while I was standing at the pharmacy counter. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Disappointing customer service experience.
The pharmacy no longer updates customers on medication backorders or when scripts are filled and it's almost impossible to reach anyone by phone to confirm. The pharmacy tech doesn't work with you to communicate instead adopting a laissez-faire attitude that is inappropriate for healthcare.
No problems whatsoever.
I visited Vons pharmacy to obtain my antibiotics. After a wait of 20 minutes in a small waiting area, the clerk informed me that my insurance would not cover this medication. I inquired about the price, and he stated it was $45, to which I agreed to pay. After another 20 minutes, I was called, and the pharmacist presented the medication, instructing me to take it all today.
