Vons was an unexpected hit, and well worth the wait. We stopped in at the recommendations of another guest who was on the patio finishing their meal. Must say we were really wowed by the quality. The sourdough pasta was the biggest winner, but everything from the drinks of the dessert smoked tableside were divine. We even got a bag of the pasta to take home.
I would definitely go again. That being said, it wasn't perfect. I thought my cocktail was watered down. The restroom needed cleaning. And our server was MIA for some time. It was quite open when we first got there, but then it got full and very, very loud. The pizza, though, was amazing and made up for it.
Nice food, nice deco/atmosphere, reasonable prices. Waitress/waiter can be very busy, but they are friendly. Had some Seattle Sea Stew. Loved it! It’s a big bowl of Seattle style tasty stew. I was definitely stuffed… Would like to come back and try more things when go to Seattle next time.
Outstanding - yes. Staff - absolutely friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is romantic and classy. It’s the type of place you go for friends or a date. Perhaps it was view of the water in the background, the ambience of the lights, or the laughing of the guest that made you feel like home. It’s the kind of place memories are made. Must go if you’re in Seattle. You will see the magic in the air.
