I'm really sad to have to give it this rating but I was really disappointed by the service - we came there without the reservation and made one on the spot, they told us to come back after half an hour which we did only then to have forgotten us and place us in the back instead of the bar which we requested. We just left and haven't even tried any, although the bar looks very nice and I assume drinks are great too.

Cant in good conscience leave anything over 2 stars because of the bill. They add a hidden 5% "Cook's Commission" on the full bill including drinks. It's not the amount that bothers me, it's just the principle of it. It's typical for restaurants to have a tip out for back of house. Either do a tip out or pay them a proper wage but don't add surprise charges to a bill. Go somewhere else. Food was fine but didn't blow us away. This place is just fantastic, basically perfect. Been here a fair few times and explored the menu. Every item is incredible. Although it gets quite busy and might take the staff an extra moment between visits, the quality of everything is well worth the wait. Could not recommend more highly.
