We had a business account with Vonage for a little over a year, and we were excited to start a small business, in the beginning Vonage seemed like the right match for us. We wanted to give it a chance but texts were not going through and neither were calls. So we decided to switch providers, and we were intent on keeping the phone number.. I've had vonage for years. Customer service is non-existent now. They dont want to hire humans, only have Chat bots. They want you to solve your own tech problems.

We recently switched to Vonage through the recommendation of a colleague. The onboarding was clunky, but the app and the set up are very easy to use, so it was no problem even with a less tech savvy staff. However, a main reason we made the switch was to consolidate our messaging and eliminate some cell phones, and SMS functionality is still not working after a month of service. We followed the process to get approved for sending and receiving SMS, but the feature simply does not work. While I can understand technical diffic... read more
