Had my first here and plan to have my second here! I’m super surprised by the negative reviews. I have had nothing but exceptional care… the OBGYN triage dept is incredible, thank you Midwife Allison, Nurse Allison, Nurse Janine. We appreciate you helping to take care of our family. The labor and delivery nurses at U of M are angels… haven’t been through the regular hospital system but we also love Mott’s.

My wife gave birth here this week. A few notes. The "free" photography session with Bella is expensive to get anything. Each print is about $30 for a physical print. If you want digital, the only option is $250 for all. Maybe just take a few photos on you phone. The photographer claimed to not know the cost. I think they new it was high and rigid pricing. The gallery expires relatively quickly so they are praying on you emotions on feeling the moment will be lost. The food service is a challenge. Our first food order after d... read more

The Gynecology and Obstretics Dept. at Michigan Medicine has gone down hill. While I had really liked my obgyn over the years she became too busy and did not pay attention to symptoms and signs that I had. You also have to wait 12 weeks to see a random obgyn when you are pregnant, compared to other heath systems where you go in between 6-8 weeks. I absolutely do not recommend Michigan Medicine Gynecology to anyone. There are really great doctors through other healthcare systems.

I had excellent care while I was in labor which ended in a c section. Midwives and doctors visited regularly, and nurses were extremely attentive. However it is now nearly 24 hours after my c section, I am in a lot of pain, and I have yet to see a doctor or postpartum care specialist. I have been asking all day for anti anxiety meds and pain medication that won't affect my breastfeeding baby.
