Went in for just a scope. Dr. Von Evans cleaned up some torn cartilage and arthritis. That was in July 2022. It started to get a little better but never fully healed. I’ve been icing it and trying to ride an exercise bike but nothing helps. This is May of 2023 and my knee is still constantly swollen and hurts to bend it more than 90 degrees. I tried to get an appointment but was told they don’t take my insurance anymore.

I feel so bad. I said I was trying to call for over a month with no response. Actually I was leaving a message at the wrong number. The office staff is actually very efficient and courteous. Dr Evans is the best surgeon I’ve ever met. He repaired my broken hip and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. Now I need surgery on two tears in my meniscus. Dr. Evans is the ONLY surgeon I would trust.
Dr Evans is THE BEST SURGEON! Great bedside manner & very knowledgeable. He fixed my knee so well, that I referred my husband to him (and my husband doesn't like going to doctors at all) Dr Evans fixed my husband's torn rotator cuff and he's back to being 100%. His staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this surgeon to anyone who has the need for an orthopedic specialist.
Great Doctor I would highly recommend. Explains everything so you can understand what he planned to do in surgery. Very nice man.
I would highly recommend Dr. Evans. He is very knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. He treated my hip and knee pain and set my mind at ease right from the start. So if your looking for someone to treat joint pain or you have an unfortunate accident and need a good orthopedic doctor call Lone Star Orthopaedics and get an appointment with Dr. Evans!
Terrible customer service. Robo calls that ask for me to call them, and then they are out to lunch? Can't get anyone to answer the phone, can only leave a message. Incredible that they can be so busy, and treat customers so bad. If I wasn't in the middle of treatment I would definitely go somewhere else.
