My husband got my engagement ring here, a handmade estate piece. They coated the original yellow gold with something (white gold, I hope!) to match my wedding band, but just over a year later, it has come off and the band broke. My husband took it to them to fix and they gave him a hard time, said it would cost at least $200, and it would take a month or two. We said, "No thanks!" I've had better customer service at Boscov's with my jewelry.

Terrible experience. Dropped my husband's wedding ring off for a repair. Was given a quote and went on our way. After 3 weeks I called to see if it was done as we had heard nothing. Was told not done. 2 days short of 4 weeks, got a call that they had made mistake with the price due to the size of the ring (which they had measured) and the price of the repair was double. Shawn is the best! I usually do most of my shopping online, but Von Gehr had a wonderful selection and was able to get me better prices than I could find online. Was so pleased with the engagement ring, I went back to them for my wedding bands. I'll definitely visit them again when I need to make another purchase. Thanks!

Shawn was very easy to work with. He gave good recommendations and the quality of the work and jewelry was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
