Avoid for post op wound care!!! I had been attending this facility for a few months after my surgery in August. I had a few major issues with the care I had received. During one of my first visits, I had a male nurse remove my drains, he did not remove the suction when removing which caused extreme pain during the removal. He did not stop to check to see if I was okay even though I was crying. This nurse had no beside manner and made me feel extremely uncomfortable, especially in my exposed state. I had been in a car accident about 2months ago and had been referred to the VON because I had open wounds on the front of both legs, and they could become dangerous due to some underlying health issues. All the staff, starting with the front desk, were friendly and very accommodating. They were courteous and followed medical procedures down to a T. I was scheduled through CCAC after my surgery to attend the VON clinic for post-operative intervention/ care. The appointment booking was seamless and contact from them was timely and informative. The location was convenient with good parking. The clinic itself; the treatment rooms, amenities and service was excellent. My nurse, Megan was knowledgable, proficient, pleasant and supportive.
