On September 18th I was in Oceanside visiting my family. On the way there my Volvo was losing power going up steep hills on the freeway. I called my mechanic from home and he suggested I take the car to a Volvo specialist. I took it to Vol-spec Escondido. That was on the 18th of September. You know you have found an honest and knowledgable mechanic when they actually dissuade you from getting work done on your car due to cost and lack of part availability. Axel spent 10-15 minutes on the phone with me trying to help me solve my manual transmission issue on a 2010 Volvo S40. In the end, even though I didn't have him do any actual work on the car, his insight and free advice saved me thousands of dollars that could have been wasted. Thank you!

Vol-Spec is by far and away the best Volvo repair service I’ve ever had! I’ve owned Volvo(s) since 1994 and have used a number of shops since then and these guys are number one! Axel and the crew know their stuff and really take care of you. If you own a Volvo it’s a no brainer.
