Update: the manager did reach out to me and apologize. He let me know how they’re updating the communication process so that this situation won’t happen again and explained what went wrong and why they couldn’t leave off the oil change and call it the full service. For full transparency he comp’d my service, even after I said I would not be updating the review and didn’t write it to receive anything, I wrote it so people knew what happened and the situation wouldn’t happen to someone else down the line. This is the best place in the Bay Area to get your Volvo serviced and repaired. I have been a Volvo customer since 2020 and had owned two Volvo's - 20 V60CC and 24 S60. When I moved to California, this was the place where I took my cars for maintenance and random repairs. The service team is caring, patient and transparent with their customer service. Special shout out to Michael Moreno. He is the most kind and patient agent. You are in good hands.
Excellent service
Untrustworthy. Got a quote ($95) for a specific service on the phone, the advisor said she confirmed it with the service department. When I showed up for my appointment I was told the cost would be roughly double ($175) what I was quoted and they couldn’t do anything to honor the originally quoted price. If the misquote had been hundreds of dollars off I would’ve understood not honoring the quote, for this instance I do not understand the business strategy behind not honoring the quote.
