The 2026 vnl 860 we got in April has been in the shop now 4 times over 20 days. With 16000 miles on. Electrical issues , fuel pressure issues. Not regin right.. and now I'm 20 miles from where they made broke down again just got back 3 days ago from being down for 8 days. What a joke of a truck
I spent $175,000 on a Volvo semi truck, and it has been nothing but problems since day one. For a brand that’s supposed to represent quality and reliability, this has been an absolute letdown. The plastics on this truck are garbage — constantly breaking for no reason. My coolant tank burst, air intercooler hoses have ruptured, and it feels like every couple thousand miles something else breaks. 2025 new truck VNL design and power both are worse than before. The new design failed to take into account the actual situation of long-distance truck drivers, and the driving experience is very poor.
