I saw a lot of issue on the review, I need add one more issue, I purchased certified xc60 one and half years ago, and just expired warranty one month ago, now AC is not working, and called dealer and customer service at head office, they just keep saying I need to get diagnosis with out of my pocket pay first, then they can look at it, but not guarantee. you know just checking fee is over hundreds. so do not buy certified used vehicle, it means anything. just bad luck. Volvo customer service is bad.
Bot brand new Volvo 2023 XC60 had all technology needed for a RE Broker always on the road. After 2 years and several software updates as required, the most important safety feature was removed. I called and complained for the last year and after confirming the technology once existed in my vehicle, I requested that it be re-installed as that feature sealed my deal. Buyer beware. I bought a 2022 Certified Pre-Owned Volvo XC90 from Ira Volvo Cars South Shore in Oct 2024 with just 20k miles. Within a few months, the bumper paint started flaking, and only then did the dealer disclose that the car had body work before sale. The dealer repainted it, but gave the car back with panel gaps around the bumper, loose fog lights, and a dirty interior. I also noticed scratches across the driver seat leather. I purchased a pre owned certified S60 AWD turbo in Sept of 2023 with 15,000 miles. Starting around early 2024 I began having serious issues with the car. First I got a message about a fatal error with my wipers….and it was pouring rain. It righted itself the next day. I took it back to the dealership and they sold me a new wiper and wiper motor….neither of which I needed. Next I got a fatal error message indicating that the power steering was inoperable. Purchased a new 2018 XC90 when it was released and experienced A/C evaporator failure at a little over 50,000 miles. A little research shows this is a common issue for all SPA platform XC90, meaning all cars model year 2016 and onwards. Volvo refused to issue a recall for the faulty evaporator design. Instead, they released a service bulletin to add a resistor as a workaround to slowdown the damage, but it doesn't fix the problem. Evaporators are supposed to last for the life of the car.
