When we moved to Floride in 2022, I was glad to find a vet close to the house. I read the reviews and decided to take Trixie in to get established and make sure she would get her shots scheduled. The staff were great, and the female doctor was nice. We saw the female vet twice and then they switched to a male vet. This man's attitude towards me was very uncomfortable, to the point I dreaded going back. The high reviews recorded are many years old, before Dr. Hardy retired!!! Everything has changed! There is NO continuity from staff! The front desk staff make mistake after mistake and the services are all geared to maximize their bottom line! This is not the Volusia Woods Clinic it was! Once they have you as a client, their focus is on how many services they can perform without you realizing their more focused on your bank account than your pets health! Hello all, I am here to relay my experience with Volusia wife's Animal Hospital on Orange City FL. I am no longer going there because of 2 reasons: 1. They are purely a transactional clinic. I have had many dogs over the years in other states with whom I am still in contact... 2 Issue with most recent purchase of prescriptions... I needed to get a blood test to refill a prescription which was no problem so far...
