I don’t even know where to begin
The VOG doctors are a great group of doctors! They are my doctors, my daughters’ doctors and I work alongside them at AdventHealth. They all have a wonderful bedside manner, explaining the plan of care to their patients, and are highly skilled surgeons as well. I recommend each and every one of them.
They claim to be evidenced based but are definitely not. The want to tell you how to labor and deliver your child. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Volusia claims to practice evidence-based medicine, while recommending practices that are not supported by evidence. They also fail to understand a patient’s right to informed consent and autonomy in decision-making.
They could respect a clients rights to choose what they would want, rather than telling them what they will have by issuing them a birth plan that they have supplied for their patient. The doctor should not be in the driver seat at any birth.
Awesome physicians and nurse practitioners!! Up to date on all evidence based information. Compassionate and truly respect all patients!
Start with their attitude-
Worst doctors office I have ever been to, the front desk ladies are so rude. You stand there for at least 20 minutes before they even look up at you. The staff is rude, no one seems to care that your pregnant or that this is a special time in your life. Then the wait, if your appointment is at 11 am, you won’t be seen until noon. I wish I never would have came here, and if I wasn’t so far into my pregnancy I would walk out and never come back.
They welcomed both my boys into the world. They are wonderful.
