I absolutely love Volt Credit Union! I got my wife’s auto loan through them and the entire process was smooth, fast, and stress-free. The team was so helpful and friendly, making sure I understood everything along the way. It’s rare to find such great customer service these days, but Volt really delivers. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a low auto rate.
They allowed a known scammer into my checking account. Information was available both online and with the better Business Bureau. Closed my account. Got a check back from the scammer. Volt refused to cash the check and refused to give me an explanation. I indicated I would wait for the money until the check cleared. They refused. Anybody else disturbed by the background when you click on Online Banking from the Volt website via your phone? I let them know, they said they'd pass it on to management, but it's still there... I'd post a picture here but I realized that I don't want to be using my phone to take a screenshot of an upskirt photo of a little girl. It was an honest mistake, Volt, but you seriously need to change the background!
I've been a customer for many years and I'm generally happy with Volt CU. I'm trying to get a heloc. I was told 2-4 weeks to closing. Today is 8 weeks and just got notified the received all the documents they needed. I'm guessing another 1-2 weeks till closing. They said they couldn't get an AVM value for my property... then it took 4-5 weeks to find an appraiser? Hind sight I wouldn't go with Volt for this product. There are better terms online and I have little doubt I wouldn't be trying to reschedule projects right now.
